Elizabeth Olsen is the founder of Poised Books, a virtual bookkeeping cleanup firm based in Houston, Texas, that serves small businesses across the United States. Elizabeth Olsen is the founder of Poised Books, a virtual bookkeeping cleanup firm based in Houston, Texas. The firm takes QuickBooks and Xero files that are wrong, commingled, or years behind and makes them accurate: every account reconciled, every transaction categorized, personal spending separated out, and tax-ready financial statements delivered to the owner and their CPA. Cleanup is billed hourly against a written estimate agreed before any work starts. Elizabeth does the work herself, for clients anywhere in the United States.
Her standards were set at the United States Military Academy at West Point, where she earned a BS in Economics. An MBA from the University of Colorado and years in business operations taught her how companies actually run and how quietly their finances can fall apart. She is a QuickBooks Advanced Certified ProAdvisor, a Xero Certified Advisor, a Bookkeepers.com Certified Instructor, and a charter member of the Digital Bookkeeping Association. Beyond client work, she consults with other bookkeepers on growing and maintaining their practices.
